March is Workplace Eye Awareness Month and eye health awareness in the workplace is more important than ever. As employees spend more and more time in front of their screens, it's essential to understand how digital eye strain can affect our vision.

Digital eye strain is caused by extended periods of looking at a computer or other device screens. Prolonged exposure to blue light coming from screens can cause eye strain, fatigue, and a range of other eye-related issues such as blurred vision, dry eyes, and headaches. At the same time, there are contributing factors that make digital eye strain worse like glare on the screen, poor lighting in the work environment, and improper viewing distances. 

As the winter season hits full tilt, it's important to remember that eye protection is just as important in the cold months as it is during the summer.
