Finding Ways to conduct "Business as Usual" in a most unusual time.

We're living through an unprecedented time in our lives. In many ways, COVID-19 has put the world on "pause" and businesses around the world are looking to find ways to keep working and connecting with clients and consumers remotely while we wait out this pandemic.

For business owners, the best thing you can do right now is to keep the lines of communication open with your patients.

Reach out to them and let them know what your policies are for sanitizing your stores. Let them know what your interim measures are for handling their eyecare needs during this crisis and be a resource to them if they need you.

This is also a great time for you to take inventory, literally, and to consider how you are currently handling your restocking strategies. We've got some great advice for you about this in a past blog, and you can find that here.

For eye care patients and consumers, if you can't get to your local eye care retailer to try on their latest styles, check out a Virtual Try On. We’ve got one at varieyewear.com. This is a great way to try on all of the latest styles in the comfort of their own home. Then you can see which style that suits you best and then contact your ECP to discuss how to get you in a new "frame of mind".

If you don't have an optical retailer, call us, and we can connect you to one that can help.

To the Medical Community, a word of thanks.

At the front line, our medical professionals are the real heroes of the day, working tirelessly, in many cases with limited resources. They deserve our deepest thanks and respect. The best way to show this respect is to listen to your local and state governments and abide by the guidelines they've put in place for your community.

With patience and perseverance, we will all get through this.

From our family to yours, stay healthy and stay home if you can. We’ll stay in touch and always feel free to reach out to us.
